Abstract

We aim to address which language model brings the most coherent world conception for Wittgenstein. We analyzed his two main works, in the Tractatus Logico - Philosophicus (TLP), he sought to recognize a logical structure that could account for the functioning of language in the representation of the world. He understood language as a mirror of reality, so he is able to describe the facts of the world significantly from a relational perspective between objects, things and facts. Wittgenstein's conception of the world, as “totality of facts”, that is, the logical structure of the world, will determine, in a later step, the structure of language. In this way, a meaningful language will be possible as a description of the world. In the second phase of his thinking, in Philosophical Investigations, Wittgenstein breaks with the analysis he made in the Tractatus. Since then, language and world come together pragmatically, it no longer represents the world, but it is part of its constitution and fits the context of experience according to its use, the relationship that exists is between the subject , your community and the world. Wittgenstein calls the activity, the use of language in the context of living, language games. In this sense, language is linked to human actions, they are Life Forms, they contain rules that certain collectivities follow and, therefore, understand multiple possibilities, which give different meanings to the world and engage language games giving meaning to language.
