Author Biography

  • Vagner Sargentelli, Federal University of Amazonas/UFAM, Universidade Federal do Amazonas/UFAM

PhD in Chemistry (1996) with the thesis entitled "Synthesis, study of thermal and electrochemical behaviors and reactivity of complex copper (II) pseudo-halides" - Instituto de Química de Araraquara - Universidade Estadual Paulista "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" - IQ / UNESP, and Bachelor of Chemistry (1990) with the work of scientific monograph under the title: "Preparation and characterization of silica obtained from zirconite" by the same institution. He concluded two post-doctorates: "Supported vanadium catalysts obtained by the sol - gel process in the oxidation of methanol and methane to methyl formate" - Botucatu Biosciences Institute - IBB / UNESP, and "Production of nanoparticulate materials for processes based on immunocytochemistry "- IQ / UNESP. The lines of research include biomaterials, catalysis, spectroscopies, coordination compounds and nanotechnology in which he develops work in preparative chemistry and analytical chemistry. He has extensive experience as a teacher, researcher, supervisor of scientific works and, also, in management.
