A FORÇA DA DÚVIDA E A RESISTÊNCIA DO COGITO NA METAFÍSICA DE DESCARTES

O presente artigo pretende analisar o desenvolvimento da dúvida na obra Meditações sobre a Filosofia Primeira de René Descartes, tanto para compreender de que modo ela tem força para realizar a tarefa que lhe é atribuída pelo filósofo em sua metafísica, quanto para compreender de que modo o cogito a ela resiste. Concluímos que a força da dúvida está em seu rigor, expresso por seu aspecto metodológico, e que o cogito resiste à dúvida por expressar a própria condição do duvidar.
