Abstract

Este artigo propõe a discussão sobre a autonomia da Perícia Criminal no Estado de Roraima, frente a uma gradativa desvinculação destes órgãos das estruturas da polícia civil, em outros estados do Brasil. Com o objetivo de evidenciar os benefícios desta autonomia, diante do quadro organizacional destes órgãos dispostos dentro das estruturas da segurança pública, que deixou uma lacuna constitucional normativa, de amplitude nacional, quanto à organização administrativa e subordinação, destes órgãos oficiais de perícia criminal.
