PLANTAS TÓXICAS EM ÁREAS VERDES PÚBLICAS NO MUNICÍPIO DE RORAINÓPOLIS, RR, BRASIL

O objetivo deste trabalho foi realizar um levantamento das plantas tóxicas em áreas verdes públicas do município de Rorainópolis-RR. Utilizando métodos fotográficos e confecção de exsicatas em campo para posterior identificação das espécies em banco de dados eletrônicos. Assim tendo como resultado da pesquisa a identificação de 14 espécies tóxicas ao ser humano, dentre elas Dieffenbachia picta Schott apresentando a maior frequência relativa, seguidas das espécies Alpinia purpurata, Sansevieria trifasciata, Nephrolepis exaltata bostoniensis. Logo conclui-se que a necessidade de remoção destas espécies dessas áreas, bem como a realização de trabalhos educativos e preventivos junto ao órgão competente à administração das áreas verdes públicas do município.
