THE INFLUENCE OF DENDROLOGICAL VARIABLES AND LIGHT ON LIANAS INFESTATION IN TREES AT PARNA VIRUÁ

Os cipós ou lianas necessitam de árvores como suporte para terem acesso a luz, podendo influenciar demaneira negativa no seu crescimento. Nesta pesquiSa analisamos a influência da espécie, DAP e níveis de disponibilidade de luz em árvores infestadas de lianas. Utilizamos estatística descritiva (percentuais de infestação) e análise de regressão para verificar essa influencia. Das espécies analisadas 3 mostraram de 20 a 25% de infestação. A influencia do DAP não foi significativa (P-valor=0,5689) na infestação. A infestação chegou a 35% com a menor disponibilidade de luz. Os resultados mostram que níveis de luminosidade podem influenciar na infestação de forma inversa, pois quanto menor a disponibilidade de luz para árvore maior a infestação.
