VANTAGENS DA CICLODEXTRINA FIXADA NA POLIAMIDA 6

A poliamida 6 é muito utilizada na área têxtil, mas oferece algumas desvantagens como resistência li- mitada a soluções diluídas de ácidos e limite de temperatura de trabalho. Além disso, requer um cuidado para o seu processamento, tendência à oxidação a temperaturas elevadas. Para melhorar seu processo nas tinturarias fixou-se metil-β-ciclodextrina (M/CD) e 2-hidroxipropil-β-ciclodextrina (HP/CD) na poliamida e realizou-se os seguintes testes: quantificação, recarga da poliamida, estabilidade, absorção de água, solidez, teste de pilling, rendimento colorístico do corante e teste de gota. As CDs são uma nova classe de produtos auxiliares para a indústria têxtil, podendo ser utilizado nos processos de lavagem, tingimento e acabamento. Os testes mostraram que a união da poliamida 6 e ciclodextrina beneficiou o produto final (malha para roupas) referente a maciez, estrias e quebradura.
