LEIBNIZ, OS FUTUROS CONTINGENTES E A UNIDADE DA POTÊNCIA DIVINA

Este artigo tem como como objetivo analizar o estatuto dos futuros contingentes e a extensão da potência divina no pensamento de Leibniz. À luz de algumas referências presentes nos Ensaios de Teodiceia, o presente texto investiga o debate medieval anterior – prestando especial atenção às figuras de Duns Escoto, Thomas Bradwardine, Gregorio de Rimini e Robert Holcot – para salientar a proximidade entre a reflexão de Leibniz e a abordagem filosófica ligada à tradição ockamiana.
