The second issue of Volume 12 of Roraima State University's Environment, Management and Development magazine brings a series of articles that discuss current themes that have as their starting point the insertion of the local context in the scenario of linguistic and literary studies. This issue brings 14 specially selected articles that address themes in the area of education, literature, music and regional culture in general, identity building and multiculturalism, focusing also on the relations arising from Venezuelan immigration, the need to adapt to the common language. refugees and their impact on teaching, learning and their methods, all in order to ensure the fulfillment of the mission undertaken by this journal.
A special mention to the beautiful photo on the cover of this issue, authored by Cláudio Souza Jr, which brings a very poetic look at the sunset of the Roraima plowed and reaffirms our commitment to the appreciation of what is locally produced, whether in artistic or scientific terms. With this number, we expanded the scientific dissemination about the regional reality, and made the articles available with the certainty that we are fulfilling our role.
