This article intends to explore the potentialities of the anthropological readings for the understanding of the relationship health, disease and therapeutic practices, tends as background, readings of the classic ethnography, capable to guide and to base field researches in the science of the health. It will be demonstrated that the popular medicine or social magic is noticed by the Anthropology inside of her own logic, and that many of their explanatory orientations are rendered to the understanding of the universe of that therapeutic practice. They will also be mentioned concepts on the therapeutic itineraries and the cure roads drawn by those that live the experience of the disease. The purpose is to give a quick contribution in the sense of to delimit and to guide the application of the ethnography for students and researchers of the science of the health, that venture for the intrigues of the field research.
