Este trabalho objetivou melhorar a compreensão do conteúdo geometria molecular no 1o ano do Ensino Médio, por meio de abordagem diferenciada, envolvendo a construção de formas espaciais de moléculas utilizando-se jujubas e garrafas PET. O trabalho envolveu duas turmas de 1o ano, na Escola Estadual Fagundes Varela, localizada no perímetro rural do município de Rorainópolis. Os resultados demonstraram que a abordagem provocou melhorias qualitativas no ensinar e aprender conteúdos científicos de Química, uma vez que se observou engajamento, auxílio mútuo entre os estudantes e cumprimento adequado da atividade.
